All-Fish and Seawork Fish Processors take over INTERCONT Grosshandels GmbH
THE GERMAN-NAMIBIAN PARTNERSHIP TAKE OVER THE SHAREHOLDING OF THE SEAFOOD IMPORTER AND WHOLESALER IN SOUTHERN GERMANY.
Kronshagen / Garching, 29.11.2019 – ALL-FISH Handelsgesellschaft mbH (All-Fish), Kronshagen, and Seawork Fish Processors (Pty) Ltd (SFP), Walvis Bay, Namibia will collaboratively take over the shareholding of INTERCONT Großhandels GmbH in Garching, Germany, effective 1 March 2020.
The previous shareholders jointly decided to sell their business to the experienced partnership of All-Fish and SFP to ensure that the legacy built up over many years continues to thrive with the youth and drive which the new owners bring to the table. “We are very happy to have reached an agreement are relieved to know that INTERCONT will be led by a team of professionals and will stay a force to be reckoned with for many years to come.” former shareholders and management team Giuseppe Mavica and Manfred Löw. The previous shareholders both agreed that for them it was important to find suitable successors that bring with them the necessary experience and enthusiasm to run the business forward and to take it to new heights.
Herman Kroes, Stefan Schulze und Alexander Kögel will take over as the future management team of INTERCONT. Herman Kroes explained: “We would like to ensure all of INTERCONT’s current business partners that for them there will be no significant changes or implications as a result of the takeover. INTERCONT will remain in operation independently from All-Fish and SFP and will continue to supply the same variety of products, in particular the ITC brand, to the existing customer base”. Stefan Schulze reiterated that “through the established synergies with All-Fish and SFP we are sure to build on the previous business successes of INTERCONT.”

Operating since 2002 in Walvis Bay Namibia, as harvester and processor of seafood products. The main operation is run through two production facilities where Cape Hake, as well as Southern African Kingklip and Monk are processed and distributed to all corners of the globe. SFP also runs its own ice factory and cold storage facilities in Walvis Bay. The Seawork group currently employs just over 1,800 employees and processes about 25,000 tonnes of fish annually. The fish is mainly caught with its own fleet with fishing quotas allocated to its shareholders.
